Review: Benefit Bella Bamba Blush

First of all, I must say Bella Bamba Blush is over all an A. It is pigmented, sparkly, and one of the prettiest colors in the world.

Product: 9.2/10
Pigmentation: 10/10
Packaging: 10/10
Texture: 9/10
Lasting Power: 7/10
Application: 10/10

Pigmentation: One word. Amazing. It is super pigmented. When applied, in the box or if you swatch it, the color is just amazingly pigmented. The amount of pigment is so outstanding that the color just will almost overwhelm you. Great pigmentation. This blush can tend to look a little heavy on your cheeks. Like the makeup artist at the Benefit Cosmetics counter told me "... remember to tap the excess of when you pick it up on your brush."
Packaging: This metallic, sparkling, shiny, colorful packaging will catch your  eye instantly. The box will cheer you up instantly. The colors on the box are orange, pink, and purple. The pattern on the front has a picture of pink sequins and what looks like purple feathers (i guess that is what it is). The inside is a lavender color with a white lace pattern throughout the inside.
Application: This blush also is an amazing blush because of how easy it is to apply. It is easy to blend and apply. It is easy to put on too much so be careful when putting it on your brush. Tap off your brush when you are putting it on your face for everyday use but for an editorial look.
Lasting Power: The one thing about this blush that doesn't get an A is the lasting power. I wish the product would last longer on my cheeks but yet it might last a couple hours but by the end of the day it is hardly there. So the lasting power is the down side about this blush.
Color: The color is a watermelon pink color as described on www.sephora.com and at www.benefitcosmetics.com or at Sephora and Benefit stores. There is a crazy amount of shimmer in this blush. If you like matte cheeks you will not like this blush. There are silver shimmers with an intense gold sheen. When I say a watermelon pink, I mean a beauty product watermelon color. No exactly the color of watermelon but very close. Again there is a lot of shimmer and a little bit of glitter. When applied the gold sheen really comes out. This might not be the right color for people with a cooler undertone but great for warm or neutral skin tones. Any where from pale porcelain skin to a deep dark skin shades with a warm or neutral skin tone.

Is this blush actually a 3-D pink? Well, it might not be what you think of as 3-D but it does add a three dimensional look to your face. You will look very dimensional. This will really make your face look amazing. Your face will look lively and fresh.

Additional Information: If you get a pimple or multiple pimples on your cheek area, I would not use this blush. Or if you have very large pores or just don't want to show off your pores do NOT use this. Shimmer on your cheeks can really emphasize acne or large pores so try to go for a matte blush or one with LESS shimmer.

                                                                                                                               Caroline :)
